Biography
sol - she/they/it
the brilliance of sunbeams
first daughter of the universe, sol was created as an experiment. when sparks began to fly and light began to filter into the dark abyss, the universe knew that it had created something special. adoring sol's light, the universe never wanted to let her go. they would talk for eons as though time was nonexistent. but as all organisms grow, sol had to as well. her light spread further, and with her light came warmth. and with the blessings she brought, the universe decided that it was time for her to leave and find somewhere else to go. to spread her light elsewhere, and so she did. countless galaxies were passed in her travels, and she met thousands of wonderous creatures, but she never quite felt at home. that was, until she found this planet. she now resides in eden, where she soaks in the sunlight of her own creation, wondering when her existence will end.
a note from emse:
sol is a dragon who you would not suspect of godhood. she doesn't speak, she merely lazes around. though i've never had the chance to speak to her, i dont think anyone has, i've noticed that she seems to be content, or at least at peace. for as long as light is in the universe, she will be alive, and i think that she's come to accept that. its admirable that she hasn't gone mad yet.
a word from stella:
i think that what esme says is correct. i've known sol for a very long time, we're sisters, after all. most gods, from what i've seen, either resent their immortality or have become so absorbed in it that their true selves are lost. i don't know how sol is able to keep herself together, but i really admire that about her. you can tell that she isn't tuned out to anything, either. she's a great listener, and even though she doesn't talk back, i always go to her when i have something to say. she's amazing.
