Luther found Eurytides as a young hatchling while working a mining job. Luther looked around for a good long while, but he couldn't find any other Banescales or even Shadow dragons in the area, so he took Eury in. Quigley crash-landed outside the clan lair not long after and Eury took a shine to her while she was recuperating; she ended up as a de facto mother figure to Eury.

Only a few months older than Luther's children Glacee and Tyndale, Eury quickly became friends with the two of them once they hatched; even now that they're older the three can often be found hunting together. Eurytides is much more softhearted than his spiky exterior would suggest, and he likes to sing and tell stories more than anything. This has landed him a position as the unofficial entertainer of the clan.
