Unnamed

Gotta name him soon. Summarizing the idea I had, he probably found the abandoned egg of (unnamed aether boy sitting next to him in the lair), and adopted him as his son. But he found the egg while traveling in Plague territory, and it hatched before he could make it out. I imagine in my lore, Nature and Plague have very, very strained relationships, if not outright being at war with each other. Not sure about deities existing yet I'll work that out later. Either way, because of his son hatching as Plague element, he's very afraid of what would happen to him were the caravan to return to Nature territory like it usually does at least every few years. He wants to protect his child, even if it means he can't see the rest of his family again, maybe? Possibly could try covering up his son's eyes maybe, as a form of protecting him. Also he and most other dragons in my lore have never seen an Aether before, so he doesn't know what to tell him. Probably tries convincing him he's just a Tundra born with an extra pair of limbs and wings....?
