Biography

Daedra

  • Second eldest of Dresden and Adelynne's remaining daughters.
  • Intelligent, cynical, driven, a dragon of integrity
  • As the younger twin, she's second in line for the throne behind Asalya.
  • Unlike Asalya, she didn't originally intend to remain in the clan, but she didn't want to serve Shadowbinder or find a new clan, either. Ideally, she'd have liked to start a clan of her own.
  • When it became clear that Asalya vied for the throne, however, Daedra couldn't bring herself to leave.
  • She didn't particularly want the throne herself, but nothing could be worse than her older sister becoming a queen.
  • Honestly, it vexes her that her loyalty to her clan keeps her here instead of leaving to fulfill her own goals. And it p*sses her off even more that Asalya's the one who made it necessary.
  • She spends a lot of her time being p*ssed off at Asalya, actually.
  • When she's not covering Asalya's chores or trying to undo the damages caused by her sister's negligence, she spends a lot of time secretly training in the fungal caverns beneath the clan's stronghold.
  • She wants to get better at magical combat, you see - to prove herself worthy as potential queen. Asalya may be lazy and manipulative, but that doesn't mean she's not still smart and capable.
  • Maybe one of these days she'll beat the snot out of her and get her back for all the mean-spirited pranks and malicious gossip. As it is, though, she and her sister are (annoyingly) quite evenly matched.
  • Aside from training, she enjoys exploring the corners of her clan's territory (especially the secret parts, like the fungal caves), and even has a secret friend or two hidden around.
  • When push comes to shove, she's got allies. Perhaps she won't need to outmatch her sister after all. ;)
