A quiet dragon with a lot of respect for the voices and stories of those older than him. He is a well-spoken, intelligent dragon. He has a sharp mind and is good with numbers and memorization. Brew is a history buff who spends most of his free time reading or collecting old artifacts. He also fancies himself a bit of a writer, although the poems he's written are kept intensely private.

He's a quiet dragon, although he has little patience for tomfoolery or childish antics - he's not very good with hatchlings and young dragons as a result. He's also rather private, keeping his personal life to himself as much as possible. Although he and Iris are mates, one would not guess so just by observing, as they shy away from showing affection around others.

iris' mate, though he hasn't been in the clan as long as she has. He migrated to the clan after a tragedy wiped out his native arcane clan. He has only revealed this to a select few within the clan, and has yet to reveal any specific details.

He often accompanies the hunting and scavenging party as an excuse to look for old artifacts, and also is a common accessory to Tippet's hunts for old books. He knows he's middle-of-the-road in terms of strength, and he feels safer artifact hunting with the hunting party than he does alone because he knows they're strong enough to keep him safe.

Despite appearances, he has a big heart and he cares for Iris deeply. When it comes to her, he can be a bit of a bleeding heart. Iris has received hand-written poems from him in the past, something which endeared her to him greatly when they were courting.

Brew is more known for his wealth of historical knowledge than he is for his brawn. He's not remarkably good at magic nor at physical combat, and he doesn't put much effort into improving. He's aware there are others more gifted and more driven to improve than he is, and he's content with this fact- as long as there's someone strong enough to keep the clan safe, he's fine with being perfectly average in terms of strength.

He can get a bit impatient at times and doesn't get along well with the younger dragons in the clan. He takes great pride in his selection of old artifacts and goes to great lengths to preserve them - he and Lucielle have been known to spend hours talking about their collections - anything Brew comes across that he deems too new for his liking gets passed on to her, and she is one few in the den he trusts when he needs help preserving or restoring an item.
