Personality
  • Pyrce is seen as a motherly figure by just about everyone. She gives off a sense of security to people that meet her, and many easily trust her for good reason.
  • She is very calm, rarely seen upset or bothered by situations. Her calm personality helps her give off the air of being in control.
  • As a leader should be, Pyrce is very quick-witted. It seems as though she has a solution for just about any problem thrown at her, save it be what she wants to eat for dinner.
  • Pyrce is heavily devoted to whatever she deems worthy of her time(which happens to be a lot). She will always put her 100% in the task at hand, and will not quit unless the task is handled in a satisfactory manner.

History
Pyrce had wandered aimlessly through the lands for many years, never quite able to figure out what she should do with her life. It wasn't until she stumbled upon a small lair, housing only two dragons. Perplexed, she asked to stay the night so she wasn't out in the elements. The two kind dragons welcomed her with great arms. The three spent the night chatting, away. The male, and the apparent "leader" of the two, was named Tyr. The female went by the name Salacia.
Late into the night, Tyr began to explain his ideals to Pyrce. The mirror wanted to create a safe haven for those exiled from their homes, for those who did not belong. He himself was an outcast, and dreamed of giving those like him proper homes, and a chance for a good life. Pyrce did not hesitate to ask to join in his cause. She had seen plenty of dragons unable to live with others due to their abnormalities. From then on the three worked together to make their dreams come true. Pyrce had been tasked with finding those who were exiled or alone, with nowhere to go.
One day, Pyrce was peacefully napping against a large tree. She felt something amiss, and stirred awake slowly, only to find a giggly skydancer tying rope around her neck. Startled, she let out a yelp and squirmed away. This only caused the peculiar skydancer to roar in laughter. Obviously confused, Pyrce asked the girl what in The Arcanist's name she was planning. The girl happily explained that she was tying a noose around Pyrce's neck, and how she always did that to strangers she found sleeping while she traveled. The spiral couldn't help but laugh, which confused the skydancer. Pyrce introduced herself, and offered to take the girl with her to a place where she could live. Baffled, the skydancer stepped back. She asked how the older woman knew she had no home, in which Pyrce explained it was written in her body language. The girl, who quietly introduced herself as Noose, decided to go with Pyrce, as she sensed no ill intent within the spiral. The two quickly became close, and Noose proved to the small clan that she was a gifted mage fairly quickly. After Noose had joined, the ball had begun to roll.
The clan grew quickly, Tyr and Pyrce just barely able to manage everyone(Salacia admitted she had poor leadership qualities, so she let those two take the reigns). As they had finally organized the lair and the residents within, it was brought to their attention that they hadn't given their home a proper name. Noose suggested calling it The Order, as they had finally organized the place efficiently. It was laughable at the time, but the name had stuck. The name came to be The Order of Ancrypt, which was referring to what people called the area they had built the lair in.
Now with a name and a growing amount of members, Pyrce and Tyr had to focus more on the clan and less on themselves. They grew apart as the clan grew larger. It wasn't until a young Kae, Pyrce's grandson and Noose's only child, had asked where his grandfather had gone did a sudden realization dawn upon her. She had not seen Tyr in over a moon cycle, and the thought had never even crossed her mind, as she was used to not seeing him. Desperately. Pyrce searched the surrounding area, only to find out that no one had seen either Tyr or Salacia in at least half a moon cycle.
But Pyrce had no time to look for them. What was gone was gone, and Salacia always said to think for a better future, and not dwell on the past. After 3 moon cycles of not seeing the two founders, The Order held a small memorial service to mourn them. Pyrce was officially the sole leader, but somehow, she managed. The other members took on more responsibilities, so they could lighten the weight that had fallen upon her shoulders. A full 6 moon cycles after the disappearance, the clan no longer felt like a clan. It was more like a family, closer then it ever was before. Work was split among the residents with little reluctance. And even still, the clan grew larger.
There came a time where The Order was often attacked. It was then that the clan started to train the residents to become strong. Gallahad and Noose had taken the jobs of training the inhabitants, as warriors and mages respectively. Even after the members were able to defend themselves from assailants, the fighting did not stop. It was after a young Kae had gotten a bad injury that Pyrce declared that the Order was to move to Wind. She had hoped that there they would find peace among the Windswept Plateau.
On a clear night after a particularly fierce battle, The Order and its inhabitants bid the Starfall Isles farewell and made their way to Wind. The move was easy, as Wind neighbors Arcane, but the change was drastic. Once again, Pyrce struggled to organize their way of living, since they all had to become accustomed to the changes quickly. But the move was worth while. No longer did they have to fear being attacked. After being settled, the time The Order spent in Wind was peaceful. The clan's growth became steady, and everything was managed well. In this time, Pyrce had announced that Kae, her grandson, would be the one to take up leading The Order when it was his time. She took him on as an apprentice, and slowly eased him into working. Asides from the change of pace, things remained relatively normal. Gallahad and Noose still trained with the residents just in case, and most everyone else rotated jobs and duties to keep everything functioning properly.

Trivia
  • Pyrce is afraid of fish. Nobody has any clue as to why.
  • Though she is not a fan of looking nice, her closest friend refuses to let her look anything but her best. Most of her nicer clothes were forced upon her from Noose.
  • In her younger days, she used to be a fighter. She has long since retired battling, however.
