Karmil
Oracle
Philosopher, Fortune teller, Sorceres

"Wherever there is light, there is shadow."

Karmil is a Hebrew name. It means 'Crimson, bright red'

Originating from the Sunbeam ruins, landing in the murky woods of the Tangled Woods was hard on Karmil. Lost, wandering, but with her purpose clear; to bring light to the darkness of the Tangled Woods. Eventually stumbling on Mory's clan, she learned that even the darkness has it's light, and that it does not come in the form of sunshine. Rather, in that of love and family, and perhaps the glowing mushrooms of the Whispwillow grove..

As an Oracle, Karmil sometimes gets visions. Hears the whispers of the Lightweaver. Sometimes, she is even allowed to catch glimpses of the future. This is what showed her to travel to the Tangled wood, to follow her destiny, and bring light to the darkness there. BUt she had not expected to find there what she currently has.

Karmil, slightly snobbish by nature, did not want to stay at the Moryvan clan at first. She had a mission to complete, and that was a message from the Lightweaver herself. But gifted as she was, she could not bring light to even the darkest parts of the Tangled wood. No matter how hard she tried. Refusing to give up on her mission, exhausted, she took refuge near the clan. It was there that she had a vision. A vision of how Mory was close to the Shadowbinder, and that, perhaps, she could use him to her advantage.

But the longer she stayed at the clan, the more she realised that perhaps she had interpetated her vision all wrong. That she wasn't meant to vanquish the darkness from the woods, but to learn to appreciate it, and that light always would need shadow, in order for the both of them to survive.

Karmil isn't fond of sharing her visions with others, rather keeping them to herself. But when bargained for, or giving her some interesting story in return, she might share it with you.
