Biography
HAUKU
Gen 5 Cave-Dweller Lineage
- Master Storyteller -
Fatel -> Murdoc -> Fleet -> Bug -> Euriona -> Me!
Lore:
Hauku seems to be a little bit eccentric,
living with his plump little bird,
collecting objects of questionable value.

Hauku was often seen collecting nick-nacks, books, rocks, flowers, all sorts of random items, he's never seen without his pouch of goodies, often trading with random travelers for more goodies. It was no surprise that his dens looked like a treasure trove.
The entrance to the den was covered in lush ivy and small glowing mushrooms, the ivy was tied to one side with a thin band of leather belt that was fastened to the wall, lanterns filled with fireflies hang on either side, the tunnel was littered with crystals that emitted a small glow, the brightest light being the firefly lanterns and the glow that spilled out of the entrance of the den.
The main room of the den was massive, vines, ivy and glowing crystals grew from the cracks in the walls, firefly lanterns hang from the ceiling swaying gently in a nonexistent wind, there were multiple indents in the walls with multiple items in them, many filled with tomes and journals, in others shells and flowers, ink, quills and maps and other odds and ends. A slight trail of steam swept from a small arch in the wall with cloth acting as a divider inside the small room sat a hot spring flowing from the ceiling one singular lantern sat in the corner.
To the side, a hole covered in a curtain of string and beads, the floor was covered inside covered in different types of pelts they didn’t match each other some were of thick warm fur, others of feathers, most were of soft but short fur with different patterns and colours. In a little nook in the far corner a hammock made of a fur pelt cut short in to a walk but breathable fabric, it was strung from wall to wall a small shelf with a fluffy pink pillow where a plump little green bird slept, a a small swarm of fireflies sat in a mason jar sending a slight glow over the nook, a small potted flower also sat on the shelf wedged in between a stack of empty journals.
The floor of the nook was covered in a large patchy quilt that was too large for the corner and bunched up against the walls, pillows scattered around the quilt. One wall had a shelf built into it, the shelf held many books and tins and boxes labeled items like ‘tea leaves’, ‘biscuits’ and ‘sugar cubes’, even more firefly lanterns sat on different levels of the shelves, it was a cozy sort of place.
The rest of the room was similar if slightly more neat and tidy, a stone table sat on another quilt though this one was circular, a top the table a tea set sat, two tea cups one slightly chipped while the other was pristine and untouched it was just gathering dust, the walls were lined with random objects and crates, lanterns hung from in between the ivy that’s hung from the ceiling, many fern like plants sat in large multicoloured pots, many balls of yarn, sewing needles and spools of string, sitting in many woven baskets.

It was deathly quiet when Hauku got back to his den, but he wasn't unsettled, most tend to be when it goes quiet. But Hauku had been living here since he was but a hatchling and sometimes it just went quiet, no idea why it just did sometimes, the scurrying of little feet stopped and the echoes were all that remained, it’s what he likes to call ‘The Time of Echoes’.
His feathers were drenched from the swim back to the den through a rather large puddle he couldn’t find a way around, though that didn’t dampen his mood and the large excited grin stayed, as he quickly grabbed his lanterns and untied the ivy from the wall covering the opening sending the tunnel into darkness, bounding inside Hauku quickly shook the water off his feathers, humming a little tune Hauku jumped around excitedly diving into his pillows and quilt with a sigh, it was good to be back home. Grabbing an empty journal and quill Hauku pouncing into his hammock and began writing what he’d done for the couple days he’d been out and about, it wasn’t uncommon for Hauku to forget to sleep while exploring, Hauku began to whistling while he wrote.
+ Collected some shiny rocks and other items,
+ Traded some treasure for a box of fish,
+ Bought botany books,
+ Got lost…
+ Asked a random dragon for directions,
