Assecla

The Arcane emblem’s soft pinkish glow takes up most of what can be seen on Assecla’s face. The male Guardian takes to silence more than his counterparts would, lulled constantly into a state of peacefulness that others would not be able to achieve easily on their own if not for the mark. It’s unknown who he was before he became bonded to The Curator or what he did to deserve the mark enscarred onto his forehead, but all he is now is a husk of his former self. Assecla serves to protect the Matriarch with his life now and it seems that no one can get between him and his sworn order.

Because of his state of consciousness, rumors began cropping up. Some say he was lured by The Curator into joining her clan, perhaps unwillingly too. Others share different tales, like how he had attacked the clan’s nests and he had to be calmed before anything could get out of hand. Neither the Matriarch nor Assecla move to deny nor confirm these rumors, and neither do they address his mark in any way.

Regardless of everything, he works with diligence and a will. Dedicated to protecting the clan, their kin and their Matriarch, no harm comes upon them in any shape or fashion. Perhaps he’s happy where he is, but we’ll never know for sure.
