Cherry

Cherry is…well Cherry makes me nervous. The implication of how he became a plant dragon is…concerning to say the least. From what he has told me, he was once a normal dragon,no different from any other member of his breed. He has a largely arrogant attitude, something that apparently put him in trouble with a powerful dryad. She decided to teach him a lesson, for his crime of purposely damaging her tree grove, cursing him to become a plant over time. His skin became bark-like, while his feathers became like leaves. Even his gembond gene changed, becoming soft cherry blossom petals. Unlike Gaia, the petals give off a spicy scent, and drinking tea made from his flowers is not suggested, as the flowers tend to create aggressive tendencies in all who drink it.
The curse, as he calls it, doesn’t seem to improve his aggressive attitude, in fact, it seemed to increase the problem with it. Cherry is concerned at me,hoping my dilemma is different then his, as it makes him feel like he’s losing himself slowly. I hope that shall not be the case with me, but if it is, what can I really do of it? He seems more friendly than he was when we first met, but still ignores most of the rest of our clan, except the other plant dragons and myself. An odd ability he has shown that he doesn’t recall having before is his melodious voice, a sound that seems to calm all around him. He rarely is in the good mood to use it however, making me wonder what about the plant dragon transformation cause subjects to gain such odd tendencies. Something to study further indeed.
