While not the heaviest gaoler (that honor goes to Dragonfruit) Hailstorm is solid enough and her memory is intense enough that she's been accused of being an oversized Snapper with fluff glued on.

She takes this as a complement.

What she really is, is a dragon who takes size very seriously.

As a youngling, it was soon clear that she was going to have some serious muscle. Merely being able to hit harder was never good enough for her. From the beginning, she wanted to know what she could do with her body. Soon she needed to train up sparring partners in order to have them. Now she is a roving encyclopedia of martial arts techniques. She is a teacher-warrior who customizes each student's training to their specific build and body. She is also a researcher-bard, tracking the spread of Shade-taint, studying the best techniques for various terrain and enemies, and belting out her findings in unforgettable rhymes. "Book-learning is as fragile as the paper it depends on," Hailstorm says, stretching her claws. "We sing before we read and carry it to the grave. Seize knowledge by the throat!"
