Biography

NIGHTFROST
i’m a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm
icev1.png
Hailing from a far off land, she had traveled and seen much of the world by the time she was initially introduced to the members of the clan she now calls family. A dragon of few words, she does not speak much about her past, so for many of her clan mates, her story is one shrouded in mystery. Perhaps that is just as well, for it is one of political intrigue such that they might think twice about trusting her when it was through. The former heir of her home tribe, she played the game of court politics masterfully until a misstep exposed her behind-the-scenes machinations, resulting in her exile from the tribe. Such a sudden shift from a rather pampered lifestyle to subsistence living was a hard transition, and her experiences as a solitary dragon quickly rid her of any softness.

However, many dragons, at most, have merely an unconscious awareness of her underlying steel. Armed with impeccable manners and a disarming smile, she has never forgotten how to wield her charm and silver tongue like a weapon. Manipulating the unsuspecting has become so ingrained in her that it is more of a habit than a conscious action, and it is through convincing others that they thought of her idea themselves that she is so successful at influencing them to do what she wants. And what she wants is the ultimate priority. Though she will hop through hoops and play little games along the way, she always has an end goal for which she will do anything, an ulterior motive that drives her decision-making: self-interest - and as long as that coincides with the clan's interests, then she shall remain loyal.

She has gained a reputation throughout the clan for being nauseatingly polite and near impossible to catch off guard, but though she holds herself to a high standard in terms of both mannerisms and appearances, she does not measure others with the same strict code. Just as her words are her weapons, they are also her armor. They remind her that she is not simply the beast, powerless and reactionary, who was shaped at a young age by the unforgiving harshness of the world.
