Ugh, mom, no, it's not my turn to go over inven-oh. Hello. Who are you? Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Fluorite, current highest ranking of the gem girls. Let me guess, Lapis wants you to join? Don't even answer, of course she does. Anything she can do to get more gems, she will, she's obsessed. She even named us all after gems! It's hard not to take it personally when she named you fluorite and then talks about how fluorite is overrated, just goes on and on about it. Yeah, we think she's part spiral. I'm not apologizing for us all being chatty though. Deal with it, stranger. Grandma-I mean, the Pyromistress-can be even worse. Just don't ever talk about the flamecaller around her.
Huh? The gem girls? What, you don't know? Look, I'm very tired, I don't wanna do the whole spiel, so here's the short version. We mine gems. We have chapters all over the place, each lead by one of Lapis's many, many daughters. You don't have to be a daughter to be a gem girl, though. We pay entirely based on what you bring in, you get to set your own hours, holidays are always off, and we have health insurance but legally we are obligated to mention that our dental plan is not set up yet. We are working on that still.
