Tempest is an intimidating , but respectful dragon. He is ambitious, and will not back down from a fight. He was chosen by the Shadowcaster as a representative for the shadow flight because of his servitude. He used to study at the Dusk Sanctum as a scholar. He was chosen when he once bravely ventured into the danger of the Foxfire bramble, because he had dreamt about the place for many restless nights. After he arrived, he made his way into the deeper regions where even nocturnal creatures can barely see more than a few feet in front of them. That was when he found Tenebris, his shadow serpent familiar. He heard the hiss of the snake and decided to claim it as his own when he located it. The Shadowcaster saw his brave venture out into the unknown darkness, and decided to appoint him as a representative. The diety had had his eyes on Tempest for a long time already, admiring the qualities of that dragon.

Tempest dislikes Soleil, the light representative. It is obvious that shadow has a dislike for light, but sometimes he takes it a bit too far. He understands that as representatives of their respective flights they should not fight, but still they quarrel like hatchlings.
