Biography
Council Member | General of the Legions.
Quote:
"I am proof of the flicker-lives disgust and bigotry for our kind. If you allow me to rid us of them, we no doubt shall have our eternity of peace."
Information:
Though his background is somewhat obscured much like his brother's, it is known Mortem was born unnatural, cursed with something that had him abandoned, or perhaps stolen away from his true parents. Same as his "brother", Malisiun, he was supposedly found by the Evermore on one of his long journeys as nothing but a barely awake, starving and sick hatchling. Sensing whatever foul magic inhabited him, the Evermore brought him back to the deathless lands, hoping to perhaps nurture his natural gift.
Unfortunately, the Evermore's own children took priority, leading to him being passed to Nannette to train and raise. Raised by a kind but firm hand and enlightened of his situation, he quickly took to his magic, exceeding his brother quickly as his "curse" proved to be a necromantic aura that empowered rather than weakened him as it did when he was a hatchling. Accepting his gift, Mortem's body changed permanently, his arcane blood glowing beneath his scales where they were most thin. Now, he sits as the general of the deathless lands army after proving to be quite the effective commander. The second youngest on the council, his power vastly exceeds his age, but sitting among the most powerful necromancers of the lands makes him look rather small in comparison.
