A battle-hardened imperial originating from the Scarred Wasteland, Vein travelled to Dragonhome after growing tired of the harsh conditions that plague dragons proudly endure. She appreciates and prefers the simpler life in the Earth flight's domain, though she knows that she will not be welcomed back to the Scarred Wasteland, her old clan deeming her weak and even a coward for fleeing the Plaguebringer's domain.

Vein primarily keeps to herself in her new clan, as many plague dragons naturally do. She can come across as somewhat rude through her short, blunt responses and lack of expression, a trait she attained after the many years of distrust and brutality that she lived through. The clan leader, Relic, has realised her potential and skills and appointed her as one of the clan's council members. She is called upon in times when a conflict is probable, her tactical thinking and experience a useful asset to the clan.

Unbeknownst to the other clan members, she struggles daily against her mind, the trauma of unspoken past experiences haunting her thoughts. She would never open up to another dragon, she doesn't want to be seen as weak by her new clan too.
