RABANDEL
Metal Purifier

Smelting metal becomes a lot trickier if the ore has been mined out of a particularly magic-soaked location or, even worse, has already been worked on and is now scrap. The magic has to be removed or neutralized to render the metal safe to work with. Rabandel is one such individual who does this work. Metal being a very strong and stable material means that it takes quite a bit of effort. Rabandel can spend entire weeks rendering one bit of scrap safe for melting down. They refuse to be hurried in their work either. One mistake and the forge could potentially explode, which is a risk they’re not willing to take.
