Biography

WIP. Will be a lore guide about the Rune Deities.

  • The Wovenspiral's form spirals out of a sacred basket, patterns flowing across their body. They are infinitely long, thin like fabric, their face but a flat symbol. Oldest of all, created with the world, they represent patterns of all kinds, the abstract, and the connection of all things.
Deity of The Spiral, their vessel before dragonkind is a Spiral.
  • The Madnesssower's form is everchanging, often assumed to be a shade beast. He has never taken the same form twice, despite being one of the oldest deities. Impish and childish, he often taunts mortals in his true form as a kind of fun, his chaotic power embraced by some.
Deity of Chaos, his vessel before dragonkind is a Nocturne.
  • The Bloodhowler's form is heavily scarred, with a long slice from his chin down to his chest, from which a bloody mist seeps out. He can walk on two legs or all fours, depending on the situation- on two legs, he is hunched over, often carrying weapons. His wings are in tatters, his tail flexible, yet sharp as a blade. He is recognized by pockets of mortals as representation of War, worshiped with battle and blood sacrifice.
Deity of Blood, his vessel before dragonkind is a Wildclaw.
  • The Venomsoaked's form is a hulking mass of sludge, drenched in deadly toxins. Their very breath is capable of killing whatever they please, it's potency changing at their will. Their neck is long, but may retract into themself, a mane of toxic sludge draped over both sides, their mouth filled with flexible, venomous fangs. Their tail is more solid, ending with a syringe-like barb. They keep to themself, only known by a pocket of serthis and nature clans, who are blessed with their toxins.
Deity of Venom, their vessel before dragonkind is a Bogsneak.
  • The Timespinner's form is lean and long, with a flowing mane. She bears eight limbs- two arms, two legs, and four smaller arms: two like needles, constantly spinning tapestries from the threads of fate grown from her mane; two with thin claws, which inspect the threads of fate. Her tapestries depict all events throughout time, past and future, and yet she must never speak of what she has foreseen.
Deity of Time, her vessel before dragonkind is a Fae.
  • The Matriarch's form is long and rounded, covered in fur. She has no wings, but has a ridge of fur along her back. Her horns are large and branching, about half the length of her body, tassels and banners draped over them. She is a protector of the lost and budding clans, and treats dragon lairs and beastclans equally.
Deity of The Clan, her vessel before dragonkind is a Tundra.
  • The Automaton is an artificial creation of the Second Age, given life by the magic released by The Arcanist. Its form is that of a massive machine in the shape of a drake, ever improving using scrap parts and advanced mechanisms. Created for defense, it is protective of its followers and kin.
Deity of Metal, its vessel before dragonkind is a Guardian.

  • Cloud- The Cloudflier, Coatl
  • Life- The Lifebreather, Obelisk
  • Mind- The Mindreader, Pearlcatcher
  • Pillar- The Pillarguard, Ridgeback
  • Spirit- The Spiritdancer, Skydancer
  • Truth- The Truthseeker, Mirror
