Oxymoron was a white dragon once, but his past has been forgotten, and not even tattered tomes speak of his mother. He's known as a trickster god and a thief. He's hated by strong dragons but revered by the weak whelps who resort to stealing instead of honourable combat.
In dragon culture, to steal or trick is considered incredibly taboo. Oxymoron has a reputation akin to the devil for what he represents, and his followers are just as despised.
Rats represent Oxymoron, and because of that hatchlings are taught to kill them on site but never eat them. The fear and disgust Oxymoron inspires in dragons has, ironically, increased his power. Today he is one of the most powerful gods.
