Leidri ☘︎ obedient | reflective | adaptable clan de las estrellas (home) ---Leidri is a young Veilspun, born within a clutch of four other Veilspuns just like herself. She often ponders what the world would bring to her if she left her home clan. She loves the beautiful and vibrant colors of her home in the Starwood Strand but all she wants to do is leave her family behind. Even though she's quite young, she feels the urge to explore the open lands. She'll miss her family quite a lot, she may even question her decision in the future but she is easy to adapt!

______________________________________ Write Leidri's experiences below if you'd like! Leidri's first trip off brought her into the Viridian Labyrinth to a small town that seemed like a good place to just get a taste of the world. The small town of Deasupra normally had quite the traffic within it from dragons who were from all over so what better place? Unfortunately for her, the lush jungle was harder to navigate than she had expected but thanks to the help of a lily-pad covered veilspun, she made her was there. For a first trip, nothing particular stood out except for the few times strange dragons seemed to pop out of nowhere but without much adventure there that she could find, she flew off to go find somewhere that might be able to show her better what the world had to offer. Leidri got caught in an icy storm, and was driven to ground, cold and frostbitten. Luckily, just before she succumbed to the cold, she was found by the dragons of The Icebound, a hardy clan living high in the peaks of the coldest mountains. She spent a long time recovering with them, and then as the sun began to warm the lands for summer - but never enough to melt the ever-present snow - Leidri knew it was time to fly on. Leidri traded the harsh winter of the Southern Icefields for the blinding warmth of the Sunbeam Ruins. She met a traveler much better suited to her last stop, who told her tales of his past travels. She also met a small swarm of Veilspun, who welcomed her with open arms. (Even though Veilspun arms are notably short.) They made her visit to the Hewn City less scary. She found herself in the freezing climate again, unsure how she got there once more she was faced with freezing rain and snow that made the journey treacherous. Before to long she found it difficult to go on much longer but the rain let up and the city up ahead drove her onward. There she met a Male Veilspun named Chord that had arrived a day before she did. They got to know one another and before long there was a nest of three little eggs they had together. Together they raised them into new hatchlings, much to her disappointment none of them got the markings of their handsome father..As much as she wanted to stay with Chord the cold was intolerable, so after the children were old enough to make their own way, she and Chord would make their separate ways. Leidri got lost trying to escape the frozen domain of the Icewarden, only to end up finding a strange tree in the middle of the reclaimer's glacier filled to the brim with fae dragons and a couple spirals. They took her in and gave her a place to stay and recuperate from her newly acquired head-cold. One peculiar fae, named Larimar, seemed to fear nothing and delightfully shared crops and pests form his garden to help Leidri feel better. When Leidri was no longer under the weather she thanked the fae for letting her stay in their amber-esq hive, before she took off loking for fairer weather. |
