★★★ Do you love lore? Would you like some?dummy code keeper "Welcome, welcome," one head chatters, and two clawed hands usher you inside. The room is dark, heavy curtains obscuring the walls, the floor plush with layered rugs. A table sits in the middle of the room draped in a shimmering table cloth, a collection of glowing baubles piled amongst bottles of ink and too many fountain pens and a haphazard tower of paper. Avani's tails restlessly twist as you sit in a wooden chair with a soft, velvet cushion. Avani pushes you up to the table, the chair dragging across the rugs, and sits across from you. She plucks one of the pens up into her hands, claws tapping over the metal casing, and whisks a sheet of paper off of the top of the tower, placing it between you. The silent head turns this way or that, sneering down at you with bared teeth while the other chattered, "You've come looking for writings, haven't you? You've come to the right place, yes. Yes. We can help you. We can always help you. Yes?" The chattering head's eyes darted to the sneering head, whose lips tightened. Both heads now look at you, and the friendly head says, sounding pleased with itself, "Yes." |
