Luusvar; Raze of The Golden Moon

Pronunciation: "Loose-Varr"

Temperament: Proud, aggressive, dominant

"Begone, wench!"

From a young age, Luusvar was unlike any of his siblings. Born in the threshold of light yet yearning for the thrill of death. Other Skydancers would be content playing in the sky, but Luusvar prowled under the cover of trees, catching trophies and setting cruel traps. His clutchmates were deeply afraid of him, so his parents decided it was best to let him decide if he wanted to stay. Without any words, he turned and left, a juvenile young hunter setting the world ablaze.

Still a light dragon, with a deep and dark coat, he used his breath to lure in animals or blind them, catching them unaware, before he would swoop in for the kill. On one fateful evening, he would come across a rare sight. A golden wolf. A prize that Luusvar sought to attain and a worthy challenge to prove his mettle.
The battle took days. Chasing, flying, combat, and incapacitation. The wolf was not much smaller than a juvenile skydancer, as the two danced in life and death for many moons. Finally, after battling for what seemed like an eternity, a battered and bloodied Luusvar squared up with the wolf for a final time, bearing his fangs and flaring his broken wings. A savage cry left his throat as he leaped into the air, illuminated by the moon, and pouncing on the savage wolf with a means to an end.

Under the full moon, Luusvar released his grip of the wolf, and stepped back at his work. Under the light of his victory, he skinned the beast and dawned the mantle, making a fully fledged barbarian by taking power from the skin of the slain.

Now an adult brandishing the pelt that never leaves his hide, the wolf has became him. He grooms the pelt instead of his mane, polishes its teeth and perks its ears and tail. Upon seeing him approach, many fear him and his parents can barely recognize him as he flies over domain after domain looking for value, for real warriors.

Fun Fact: I bought him PURELY because of the golden wolf cape. Can you tell?? He started the trend of Skydancer "Wolf Barbarians/Warriors" that each have one of the wolf pelts across their hide. They are with him in a partnership and belong in different Lunar Sectors.
