Raffaello

Diet:

From the ashes of a lost clan rises a sole figure. A Tundra dragon who remembers all. Despite the cataclysmic magical disaster that brought ruin to his family and community, despite being unmade and made anew, this dragon has not forgotten who he is. As more dragons rise from the ashes around him, he slowly begins to realise he is the only one who was brought back in his original form. The only one with their memory intact.

Torn apart on the inside over the fact that he has lost everyone he knew, he puts on a brave and friendly face as he goes to greet his reforming companions. One of them reforms into a being the likes of which he'd never seen before, the first Abbaration dragon the clan has ever known. Despite them now going by the name Morpheus, Raffaello knows who they were before disaster struck. Their scent is still the same, and a Tundra's nose never lies. Somehow, through their reforming process, two dragons had become one. Two dragons who were close to begin with, like two sides of the same coin, or like twins. Morpheus does not remember this previous life however, and Raffaello does not wish to cause them needless distress. It also seems their new form has given them a lot of extra arcane power. Perhaps this is the form they were always meant to take?

Inventory:

Raffaello has a particularly hard time facing the dragon who reformed right after him. Her name is still the same, so is her scent, but everything else seems to have changed. They used to be lifepartners. Not romantically involved per se, but inseperable nonetheless. They led the clan together. They raised the clan's first nest of dragons together, their three wonderful children. Raffaello had more hatchlings after that, some with her, some with another, but they left the clan and never looked back. She remembers nothing. She wasn't the Mirror dragon she was before, nor were her colours the same. However, it also seems that she wasn't... quite done? Her new form still seemed to be shifting, as if it didn't know what it wanted to settle into, didn't know what or who it wanted to be. She recently shifted into Mirror form. No matter what she ends up becoming, Raffaello will be there for her, even if it's hard. He loves her. He always will.

Soon after the ashes started shifting and reforming, three other, new dragons arrived. One was a Pearlcatcher named Avlon. A wanderer who said that something about this place drew him here, although he wasn't sure what. Raffaello welcomed him with open claws. This part of Rafaello hadn't changed either, he had always been welcoming to anyone who wanted to be part of his clan. As long as they passed the initial scent check they were perfectly fine in Raffaello's book. All he wanted was the best for his clan, and to help those who needed it.

Another of the three who arrived was a dragon named Rhodesia. She arrived in Nocturne form, but dreamt of being an Obelisk. She wanted to be a magician, in the tradition of the Shadow Flight, but with a decidedly Arcane flair to it. Her enthusiasm was infectuous, and Raffaello was absolutely smitten with her. He wanted her to achieve her dreams, and promised to help her in any way he could. Somewhere along the line, through ups and downs, they fell in love. Even before the ruin, Raffaello had never expected to find a mate, hadn't been actively looking for one. Yet now, here she was. Radiant like the stars themselves.

Last of the three to arrive was Seashore, a temporary addition to the clan, she made herself known to them when she saw they were a new and small looking clan. Taking pity on their sorry state after hearing of the disaster that had struck, she offered to train them in the art of combat, so that they were able to defend themselves should the need arise. Raffaello thanked her and graciously accepted the offer. They could use all the help they could get in this vulnerable state.
