Xanthos is the head courier for the clan whose work is focused around deliveries to and from the tower - imports and exports, basically. Unlike other couriers, he doesn't move floors often and doesn't even leave the tower. He's kind of their boss and is in charge of keeping schedules. He does most of his work in the mail room, where he sorts and wraps packages for delivery.

If someone needs to send out a delivery, Xanthos is the one to ask. He has all the connections to merchants and other couriers outside.

Couriers and messengers are different roles in the clan. While couriers are considered under Xanthos' management, messengers are not, as they work directly under officials in the clan and don't deliver goods.

Xanthos has a massive beeswax collection consisting of different types of waxes from beekeepers all around Sornieth. Because his job doesn't require much wax, his collection continues to grow and grow.
