STORY ★ ///// ADDITIONAL ★ > The youngest of the siblings, and an unsolvable mystery. Even paraded around and fawned over from birth, few outside her family know anything about Leona. Citizens of Q'edan would describe her as dark and mysterious, while those of the court would call her coy and alluring. To all, she remains unknown. > A trickster in her youth, and playful in her adulthood- her brothers are certainly never bored with Leona around. Her family discovered Leona's magic abilities at an exceptionally young age, which they immediately honed in on, bringing in scholars from the Mage's Academy and their own Court Mage's to teach the young princess. And while she may not have enjoyed every lesson, she excelled more at her magic studies than any other subject and was quick to pick up on difficult techniques. > As an adult, she aids her king-brother from the shadows, acting as his self-appointed guard (which Ymir may or may not be aware of) and quietly keeping an eye on the court members and other nobles as the (unbeknownst) spymaster. > Formally, she has no title beyond Princess, and mainly idles next to her brothers during meetings, occasionally giving her opinion on matters when questions but rarely speaking up. Although she does not hold an official position, it is rumoured that the current Head Court Mage intends for Leona to be her successor. > While she does not let the majority of people know her true self and intents, she is fiercely loyal to her brothers and intends to protect them at all costs. No one expects the youngest to be the protector, nor did she foresee herself in this position. Perhaps it was watching her loving older brothers go from smiling playmates to adults forced to wear masks to hide their pain and tears from prying eyes. Maybe it was in her nature all along. Regardless, she has made it her mission to keep them safe. Even they are unaware of the protective barriers and wards she holds on them at all times- a constant drain on her energy and toll she is willing to pay if it means giving them even a moment of time to defend themselves. > If there is a downside to her aloof manor and secret hobby, it is that she has left herself virtually alone. While she protects her brothers from the side lines, there are those who also watch the princess from the shadows. Except, she intends to catch them first. |
