    Nereus is one big Coatl. He is stern, large, and intimidating. But don't let his demeanor fool you. When he isn't working, he can be the kindest, gentlest, and fun loving guys ever! The only problem is, he never is not working.

    Nereus is a bodyguard, a protector for the Princess Naia. Though, if you know anything about her, she is the least princess-like royalty you would ever meet. Nereus has to deal with all of her wild shenanigans, traveling all over the continent and sometimes beyond. Nereus doesn't like to think about the beyond part.

    He left with the Princess when she decided to run away from her original clan. Her parents were tyrants, and left destruction and despair wherever they went. Neither Naia nor Nereus wanted to be a part of that anymore, so they absconded during the night. For Nereus' own background, he doesn't remember much. His parents left when he was a young adult to serve the Tidelord, and he was in training ever after. His skills are impeccable. He is cunning, strong, and unbeatable.

    He has to be, because he cherishes his Princess. Despite being her bodyguard, he is also her mate. Naia's safety is his number one priority, and he will take it to the grave.

    Now that he has joined the clan, he has become a lot more open with other dragons. Though, unfamiliar dragons he is still stone cold with. Though most of the clan still aviods him for his intense personality, he is admired for his prowess and his power.
