Biography

The brothers separated by time have been reunited once again, but at what cost.

It had been several years since Emmet had last seen Ingo. Overtaken by desperation, he decided that he would get his brother back by any means necessary. One day, he encountered a mysterious man who told him of the legends of a pokémon known as Arceus. The man told Emmet that Arceus was the one who took his brother, and if he manages to summon Arceus, he can get his brother back. Emmet, now knowing who took his brother away from him, was newly determined to find a way to get his brother back no matter the cost. After a large struggle, and having to fight off those who wished to stop him, Emmet finally reached Spear Pillar. He played the azure flute he had stolen borrowed, and watched as a glowing staircase formed. Heart beating rapidly, he ran up the stairs, and came face to face with the being who had stolen his brother from him. Sending out his entire team, he commanded his pokémon to attack Arceus all at once. Arceus, who at first was somewhat calm about the whole ordeal, soon realised who the person facing him was. He knew what the angry human before him was after, and was reminded of another human from the past who's actions were eerily similar. A large blast pulled Arceus from his thoughts, and before Emmets pokémon could attack again, he quickly used an attack, defeating all of Emmet's pokémon. Out of pure rage, or perhaps desperation, Emmet charged at Arceus. Arceus, not wanting to deal with this any longer, perhaps due to how dangerous he now realised this human was, opened up a portal, hoping to bring Emmet to Hisui like he had done with Ingo, and have the other human he sent to Hisui deal with Emmet, as they would be fully capable of taking him on. But something went wrong. It all happened too fast for the all powerful pokémon to realise what happened. His portal was damaged, something about it was different. Had the human have one last trick up his sleeve? Before Arceus could answer that question, Emmet was gone. Seeing though the eyes of the fragment he had left with the human he sent to Hisui, he realised that Ingo had gone missing.

Ingo had been in Hisui for several years, and despite not having many memories of where he came from, he had grown to love his new home. However, he had a nagging feeling something was missing. Someone he was close with, that resembled him, but he couldn't remember. As he was tending to Lady Sneasler, he heard a large crack come from the sky. The last thing he remembered seeing what looked like a space-time distortion, and what appeared to be a human figure reaching out to him.

The dragon lair was silent, most of the residents were out gathering food and supplies, save for a young fae hatchling. Soon after it had hatched, there had been a storm. The next morning, the hatchling had changed species entirely, now an abberation, much to the surprise of the older dragons living in the lair. They decided to not worry about it too much, as perhaps there was a breed change scroll laying around that it had gotten into while the others were away. Things in the lair soon calmed down, as other than taking on a new appearance the hatchling seemed to be the same. Then, one day the lair was woken up by two unfamiliar voices. While both voices sounded confused, one soon started talking rather excitedly. The leader of the clan, Nightshade, approached the voices. He soon realised that the voices were coming from the hatchling. Once the hatchling realised it wasn't alone, it turned around and introduced itself. "I am Emmet. I am a subway boss.". The hatching pointed its claws towards its pale head, before moving to point them at the darker head. "This here is my older brother Ingo.". Nightshade started at the hatchling, noticing that the darker head, identified by the pale head as Ingo, was staring blankly at him. Nightshade started to speak when he got interrupted by Ingo. "It looks like we've somehow arrived at a station we've never been to before. Would you mind telling us where we are?". Nightshade, while confused by the whole ordeal, explained carefully to the hatchling. Ingo and Emmet thanked him before turning around to discuss amongst themselves. Emmet caught Ingo up to speed once he realised Ingo had lost his memories, conveniently keeping out his efforts to reach and battle Arceus. In turn, Ingo told Emmet about his adventures in Hisui. They decided to stay in Nightshade's lair, much to his delight. That night, Nightshade made the decision that he would seek out the Arcanist and ask for guidance on what to do, as a situation like this would almost certainly be of interest to him. If only he could figure out how to reach him.
