Toxitrix leapt into the Wyrmwound as soon as she had both the brain and body-power to wriggle out between her parents' claws, ignoring cries of warning and despair, and as she was remade into an entirely new dragon in the womb of the life that had granted life to her, she came to a revelation. She cannot languish as s dragon in the past, or even one that inhabits the future. No, she must look tto the future always. With her hardened hide granted by the Wyrmwound and her frustratingly fragile insectile wings, Toxitrix is a dragon that generally stays grounded, but her mind soars higher and further than her wings could ever take her. Vicious-tongued and harsh to those around her, unable to accept a lifestyle that includes a healthy amount of rest, Toxitrix works herself to the bone trying to understand how the Wyrmwound works; was she a new dragon every time she made her pilgrimage? Did she take a new name, a new identity? Gripping onto her idea of herself tight, the final time she enteres the Wyrmwound she comes back out with frills adorning her neck that pulse with the energy of life and decay both; and it's then that she decides that she cannot risk her ambition to the whims of a land bound by the Plaguebringer, and makes the journey south-west to the frigid, yet ever-changing cliffs that stand before the Icewarden's land, home to a clan intent on power and recovery, where she takes on the role of a brutal soldier against the tide of the world.
