tumblr_inline_nll4853HDd1qg2i5p_400.png Shyrza was born on the formidable upper slopes of Cloudscape Crags, where no explorer is ever said to have returned from. Unlike most dragons, she was a member of not a clan, but a pack. These Wildclaws, despite being a far cry from their ancestral home in the Viridian Labyrinth, thrived in the land. They were constantly on the move, traveling on foot over the clifftops as they followed the movements and migrations of prey such as elk. Only the toughest survived in their ranks -- and Shyrza was definitely one of their toughest by far. She was (and still is) a phenomenal huntress and warrior. With her massive Pronghorn Hunter familiar, Aglæca, by her side, there is nothing that can stop her.

Why Shyrza left her pack and came to the Fleetwing Canyon is currently unknown. Many of her clan mates have considered asking her what happened, but they’re all too terrified of her to approach her after a particularly nosy dragon (who shall remain unnamed) tried to pester the answer out of her and ended up on the wrong end of her claws. It is believed, however, that her leaving was not a result of conflict within the pack, as she returns to her old territory every winter to help her family through the hard season. Through Shyrza’s transfer of residence, the Fleetwing Canyon gained an alliance with the pack, which is practically unheard of, as the pack rarely contacts the rest of modern dragonkind. Every year when Shyrza returns in the spring she brings with her gifts of wolf pelts and lots and lots of dried meat, which are treasured by the Fleetwing Clan. Over the years elk jerky has become such a hot commodity that it is sometimes used as currency during trades.

When Shyrza is not hunting with her family in the south, she is the Fleetwing Clan’s lead huntress. She established a hunting troop in the clan, one that has a similar structure to her old pack. They work together to gather meat, which is sold in the clan’s market square.
