Azulia

Azulia waved to Pear, who was flying away with some other dragons from the clan. Pear, who had hatched just a few days ago but already knew that her true calling was to be a warrior, to serve under the Tidelord.
In so little time, Azulia had learned so much about the ways of Water clans and the peculiar structuring of Clan Mist. Clan Mist was unlike any other clan that she had seen. Dragonets were allowed to choose their own path, what they wanted to do, and where they would do it.
As Pear disappeared across the horizon, Azulia turned to find Sundew standing behind her.
"You liked Pear, yes?" she asked.
"She was like a daughter to me," replied Azulia.
"She'll write," said Sundew. "I think she'll write pages and pages."
Azulia nodded, and started down the beach to the hammocks. She knew that Pear had found her place, and that she would be happy. Azulia had found what made her happy, too, being with Sundew and Clan Mist. If Nature tried to call her back now, Azulia thought that she would apply to stay at Clan Mist.
And as Azulia had found her place in Clan Mist, so would many other dragons in years to come.
