Rotface

You've found yourself on Plague territory. The constant stench of rot fills your nose. You wander around aimlessly, lost too far to see your flight territory. You turn suddenly, thinking you heard something behind you. Then, a sharp pain hits your tail. You turn your head, seeing... A bone? While a bone, it was very sharp, and had gone deep and drawn blood. You turn away, seeing something in the distance.

A small clan stands nearby, guarded by two skydancers. You approach them, and they look at you with skeptical eyes. "What do you want?" One asks, in an annoyed tone. "I'm in need of a healer." You say, hoping you'd be let through. The other dragon looks at you, then responds, "I'll escort you through, the healer's just inside."

He escorts you to a hut with a medical symbol painted in red on the front. You wander into the hut, worried about the bite. In the hut, there are shelves and piles of medical bandages. Tending and adding to the hoard, a nocturne sits with it's back facing you. Hearing you walk in, the nocturne turns it's head, revealing about 9 bug-like eyes on a fleshy, scaleless socket.

"Greetings." He says, looking you in the eyes. "Are you in need of treatment?" He asks, your wound starting to hurt a bit more. "Yes," you reply. "There's a deep scratch, bleeding on my tail." The nocturne looks at you, clearly holding back laughter. "Really?" He says, letting out a chuckle. "A stupid scratch has you freaking out? Pathetic." You ignore his comments, moving your tail closer to him.

"Alright," he sighs. "I'll wrap it up." You watch as he takes a long cloth and wraps it around your tail. You study his appearance. You notice how the patterns look like rot. "Really?" You say, confused. "Not even disinfecting it?" The nocturne laughed. "I mean, if I treat it, it won't help your immune system. You're weak if you die from that anyway."

Almost about to leave, you remember about payment. Apparently he did, too because the next second he said, "Don't you think about leaving yet. You still haven't payed. That'll be 5 gems." You were a bit surprised by the price for merely wrapping the wounds, but paid anyway. Meeting your escort outside, you notice the smell of rot isn't nearly as strong out here.
