A poison specialist, Basilisk will give the poison to anyone who has enough money to pay for it. His lair is filled with all different kinds of poisons. Tick is his biggest customer inside the clan, and sometimes Rubati will come and ask for a poison or two. Basilisk also has a dragon he works with outside the clan, who with his help makes clothes filled with poison. Basilisk knows he has indirectly helped a lot of dragons die but he could care less as long as he gets his money.
He's very introverted and a hermit who doesn't really leave his den unless it's to get materials.

He only has two friends, Sucre and Doodle, although there are times where he wonders if he truly cares about them. It's not surprising for him to disappear for days at a time if he ends up getting stuck in unusually long conversations, as they tire him out and it takes days for him to get enough energy to function normally again. Despite this, him and Sucre are always seen together. He's also supposedly in some sort of "romantic" relationship with Doodle. No one is completely sure though.

Baron knows of Basilisk's job, but like with Tick, he will ignore it as long as Basilisk's not bringing harm to the clan.

Basilisk's familiar is a Cragbacked Bouldursa named Rumble. The bear is a silent companion that Basilisk likes a lot. When he's out doing business the bear provides good protection.

Although he uses male pronouns Basilisk seems to not have a gender.
