What's the price of a livelihood? How much is a guardian's hoard of baubles worth? How does one turn every living and nonliving thing to gold? These are riddles, specific and ridiculous ones; they're how Ante always sounds, much to the detriment of their dealings with any client. Their value doesn't come from conversation and deals, no. their power doesn't stem from the life forces of others, not like her fellow queen Fatale.

Her power is that her golden gaze knows how to turn anything to pure currency, no matter what it is. She is the big boss to all the moral agents, making and giving instructions to all of them on how exactly to convert what they'd picked up or taken from debtors into cash, and then into the casino's needs. usually this means converting massive quantities of worldly possessions into magical scrolls and souls, which can cross between the planes and be fed directly to the casino employees as mana.

They're also a massive gambling addict, and besides their sight- a well developed niche ability- hold almost no power besides what is refunded to her by pity. She is often used as a pawn by the more charismatic casino members to make them seem better by comparison, and quietly bond with the mortal client over a small mutual dislike. Of course, the employee is a liar in that scenario- being a queen and often being the one turning the others' hard work into gains, she's well liked and high ranking. Her services are valuable, and she holds multiple mortal clients who do business converting their massive material wealth to gold using her insight, giving her a decent cut.
