Biography
Pronouns: She/her
Born to two aberrations, Nightmare's first word was spoken with a deep snarl.
"Rot."
Nightmare has made an effort to destroy all living creatures she has encountered since she hatched, save for her own family. Nightmare was born with an innate hatred for life and all living things.
That is not to say Nightmare is needlessly cruel or unenjoyable to be around, she is actually a very happy hatchling and is often seen chasing around her siblings in harmless games of tag.
The Reaper "adopted" (stole) Nightmare when she was just a day old. The Reaper was journeying to The Abiding Boneyard to devour their siblings, when they discovered the hatchling had wandered out of the nest and into the night. Reaper was unsure what to do with the little creature until she screamed "ROT ROT ROT!" and bit Reaper's foot. Reaper's heart swelled with paternal longing and scooped up the baby Wildclaw, whisking her away to the Driftwood Drag to be raised alongside their recently laid eggs.
"Such hatred for life. Such a desire to see the world undone. This little one has so much potential. Also look at her widdle cwaaaws. She's such a wittle monstew." -The Reaper
The first thing Nightmare did upon reaching adulthood was hunt down the largest bear in The Viridian Labyrinth, slay it, and butcher it. She brought her clan back a couple hundred pounds of fatty meat and fashioned the pelt into an outfit to both intimidate and keep her warm. The dragon skull she wears is rummored to be one of the four belonging to her biological parents, but she prefers not to talk about it.
