 Name: Icheb Starshine Pronouns: He/Him

Icheb was found wandering between the border of Light and Shadow as a hatchling and brought to The Cracked Prism by Dreamweaver. The clan believes he wandered there through the Tsunami flats. He has volatile electric eyes that allow him to see electric currents as clearly as solid matter, but they sometimes zap him when his emotions get out of control.

The forest was dense, and the pine trees tall, and to a tiny hatchling they seemed to go on forever. A small mirror, only hours old, crawled through the unfamiliar terrain. He was shivering, but not from cold; the land was sunny and warm and too bright by far. The hatchling cried out, but stopped when he felt a zap on his face. The shocks were back, as if he didn't have enough problems. "What's this?" he heard in the distance. The hatchling turned towards the sound and saw a mirror making its way towards him. He hissed and flared his crest, but the unfamiliar dragon continued to advance on him. "What are you doing out here?" the dragon spoke in flat but gentle tones as the hatchling continued to hiss at her. "Lightning? How did you make it all the way out here?" The hatchling whimpered. The mirror was familiar, yet strange. Her eyes were bright, like none he had ever seen, and yet the spots on her body and cool colors reminded him of his father. The stranger sighed. “Well, we can’t leave you here. This is a dangerous place you’ve wandered into.” The hatchling began to relax slightly. While the dragon was scary and unknown, it seemed like she wouldn’t hurt him. He squeaked his approval at her. |

The mirror chuckled. “I’m going to take you to my lair for now. Once you’re somewhere safe, we’ll try to find your clan. My name is Dreamweaver, do you know yours?” The hatchling tilted his head at her. He didn’t understand what she was saying, but he liked being spoken to. Dreamweaver sighed. “No, I suppose not, you must have hatched only today.” She pondered him for a moment, then laid a glittering wing on the ground beside him. “Climb on my back, I’ll take you somewhere safe.” The hatchling climbed up the dragon’s wing on instinct, then hunkered down on the adult’s back. Dreamweaver lightly smiled at him. “Hold on tight, now.” |
