Many years ago, there was a boy and a girl. Her name was Crim, his name was Rekk.
Rekk was a well behaved young dragon, studious, calm, tidy. Crim was anything but that. She was adventurous, a troublemaker. A thief who had managed to steal the heart of the noble dragon, and took his whole world with it.
When the two were older, they moved out to the Zephyr Steppes. That’s where they would start their family, and create a legacy.
Their first son was named Tollum.
He was a mirror, just like his mother. With dark scales to match. When his sons pale green eyes looked up at him, he swore he would do anything to keep his little family safe. Tollum was a lot like his mother, he looked like her, and he had the same awful self preservation skills as her. Crim had stopped traveling as far once her son was born, but Rekk still worried himself sick about the pair, who would often run out and explore the Windswept Plateau together.
When Tollum was older, the family decided to go on a journey, through the Ashfall Wastes to the Shifting Expanse.

Bone and Lito were found hiding in a small crevice under a boulder that had fallen during the storm. The boys were too scared to even speak when they were found, but once Tollum had gotten the pair out they slowly told the family their story.
Crim, sweet as ever, convinced Rekk to take in the small boys. And so they traveled back to their small home in the Zephyr Steppes. Rekk would have to do some expansions before they went on another journey like that.

Rekk often wandered out into the garden when he was feeling sorrowful. He had planted that garden for his late wife, with the help with some of the newer clan members. If only she could see it now.
In the distance, he saw a spot of orange. A broken kite, it must’ve come down from the Cloudsong. But when he went to move it, he found a large egg.
He grabbed the egg, and dashed into the plaza to announce the discovery
A crowd had gathered around the egg when it began to hatch. The air became excited, bits of dark fur could be seen. Then suddenly, bright green eyes were staring right back into his own.
And he fell in love all over again.
His children are his pride and joy, Tollum, Bone, Lito, and now, his darling Vespana.
