Biography
Hunter class
Sonri and Lasinth were not hatched as Aberration. Rather, they hatched as Banescale, a nameless Arcane dragonet who was too curious for his own good. He snuck out of the lair one day, never to be seen by his Clan again.
Not long into his journey, dark masses in the skies above began to blot out the sun. Confused, the dragonet looked in the direction they were coming from in time to see a cloud of thousands of Aberration spreading in all directions. Curiosity got the better of him, and he traveled in the direction that they were coming from, eager to find their point of origin.
His journey led him into the heart of the Scarred Wasteland - literally. The ground around the Wyrmwound was somewhat fleshy and pulsed ever so slightly, as if it was alive. As the final few Aberration fled the area, he came across a Skydancer dragonet being dragged by a few larger dragonets, and burst forward to help her. The two of them got into a tussle with the larger dragonets, who pushed the Banescale dragonet into the Wyrmwound pit in an attempt to get rid of him. The Skydancer tried to save him from falling over, but was dragged into the soup alongside him.
The dragonets expected to drown in the cesspit, but some force took pity on them. Maybe it was the Plaguebringer, or maybe it was pure luck, but the toxins began to shift them in strange and painful ways. Their bodies became slimmer and tails grew longer, while their wings contorted and heads narrowed. When the two dragonets fought their way out of the Wyrmwound, they were no longer two souls, but instead four. They had morphed into Aberration.
The dragonets felt that this was a sign that their fate was with each other. They followed the stragglers among the Aberration and found themselves in the Cloudscrape Crags. There, they collapsed, exhausted from their trip, and were taken in by a Clan residing in the area.
Sonri, who is on the left when you stand facing him, is quiet. He’s the observant one, insanely curious and good at reading and creating maps. His dream job is recordkeeper, but is happy to let Lasinth pursue his goals as well. He often takes note of their surroundings when he and Lasinth are out hunting, and keeps tabs on changes to report to the Defenders.
Lasinth is on the left when you face him. He's an absolute foodie and dreams of traveling Sornieth to bring the tastes of other Flights to their Clan. Sonri goes along with this, because it would give him a good opportunity to expand his map collection. Lasinth is all about culture in general, but food is his main passion. However, this doesn’t mean that you won’t find him chatting with the Lightning-hatched dragons on occasion - he also has a slight interest in mechanics.
Sonri and Lasinth named their body Sola. With Tasa, they decided to start a tradition of Clan Aberration taking the first two letters of their head’s names to give their body a name.
