Mokairum, though two heads with their own personalities and thoughts, did not feel like two. They did not even give themselves their own names, they felt 'Left' and 'Right' were good enough to distinguish eachother.

Their memories before their current state was vague and confusing. Their clearest memory was of pain and fever as they had dragged herself out of the Wyrmwound. Ryuu had told them that they had probably fallen in and been mutated. That that was why their previous life was so vague, and why Mokairum's heads were not very independant.

They suggested the idea of travelling. Basalt had seemed eager, Granite was hesistant but did agree. Their first destination had been the Ashfall Wastes; Ryuu had mentioned something about hatching there. Myra had come across them, and offered them a place in her clan to work was warriors and hunters.
