Biography
Since birth, Malygos has always had an eminent skill in magic. As a young drake, he dabbled among it's possibilites, usually only performing petty optical illusions and mind tricks. Although, a burning desire for more powerful spells flared inside him. His curiosity lead to obsession, and he secretly invented and explored new magics of dangerous grandeur.
That was until one fateful day he discovered his most dangerous spell, and the magic itself lashed back at him, and the raw energy burned and scarred his body. Ashamed and afraid of his powers, this lesson changed him, and he would never be the same. Yet he could not bring himself to give up on his talent.
Having only heard stories of the mythical Arcanist and his infinite knowledge, Malygos knew that he was to seek out the lands of the arcane flight to learn of his powers and heal his broken self. Forever leaving his home in the Viridian Labyrinth, Malygos knew his destiny resided on the Starfall Isles, and he was never to look back.
Malygos has learned, and has yet to learn of his powers. Unfortunately, his previous misuse of magic has permanently scarred his body, never to heal, but it serves as a reminder to only use his magic as intended. Malygos now works closely with the Arcanist in his libraries to learn and discover the secrets of the cosmos.
