ARCEON
The Accursed

✦ ✦ ✦

shadowmid2.png
Once a Balanced Aberration with two wolfish heads, Arceon was one of the more respected among the group due to his great hunting skills and quick thinking. Arc and Eon worked together, both bringing different qualities to the table that mixed perfectly. Arc always saw possibilities for adaptation in new enviroments while Eon was a master of reading body language of prey, friend and foe alike. It all came crashing down however when they angered the wrong minor Deity by unknowingly trespassing. As it was the more curious Arc who stuck his snout through the rupture in reality first, he was the one to truly suffer the Curse that was laid upon them. Before either of the heads knew what was happening, Arc was ripped off the body, leaving Eon to recoil in horror. But instead of leaving a horrific mess there was no blood or cuts to be found - it simply appeared as if Arc had never existed in the first place. Unbeknownst to the Aberration they had ran into a slash in reality that led straight to the realm of Hela and as their species holds two consciousnesses, one could be seperated from the other. Arc had effectively died, while Eon remained alive. It was Khronos who took pity upon the now Unbalanced Aberration and while he could never return Arc's Soul, a piece of his awareness could stay in the world of the living, appearing as a ghostly spectre that clung to their once shared body. It was not enough to appease most of the others of the clan however - and Eon remained marked as an Unbalanced Aberration to most, going from a high position to the low grounds. He had lost his advantage, finding himself stumbling through life and cursing the unfairness of it the Deities. Arc would never quite be the same either, offering no true advantage to Eon as it had once been, a mere extension that didn't truly belong and could not fully communicate. A mistake.
