Lab Journal, July 3, Year 1:
"For the breed description see SpragueDawley. Large patches of skin, similar to the aforementioned specimen, lack pigmentation. Color on paws and wings, where the skin is especially translucent, much more vibrant. The bubbly pattern on the wing membrane possibly influenced by environmental factor, perhaps liquid chemical waste or... a potion? It did come from a reknown alchemist...
Observe the protruding ovaloid growths at the posterior edge of wing membrane. These are thought to attract either mates or insect prey with the movement, color, and smell."
Personal notes:
"Runes on his body are supposedly congenital and not a tattoo! Perhaps arcane and shadow elements cause as many active mutations in the inhabitants of the corresponding realms as the Plague does! That would be great for the reach of my studies, and that can be used to secure funding "
