Just like how forests may have connected and intertwining roots underground, Faina has learned how to exploit the connection between her host and related individuals. She can switch at will between related hosts by the following the link between their blood. Distance isn’t much of a factor either – Faina can jump hundreds of mile in one switch. By moving around, she has more freedom to take energy from her host. Faina can drink in a large amount of her host’s lifeforce then switch to another to allow the first to recover. In this manner, she cycles from relative to relative.
