Dusty takes her job as head messenger very seriously and prides herself on deliveries being on time. Her work ethic carries on to the rest of the Messenger's Guild, giving it the title of most organised guild in the clan. Those who are late or break any of her strict rules are often punished, being forced to go on supervised deliveries until she feels she can trust them alone again.

Dusty rarely goes on deliveries herself unless it is something important, mostly staying in the clan's postal office sorting through packages and barking orders. Being so busy makes it hard for her to find a mate, but Dusty seems to take it all in good stride, joking that she's "Married to my work".
