Aelbus, despite her cheerful exterior, is very lonely. From a young age, she had always felt out of place among the icy lands of her homeland. Thus, she left for distant lands. Unfortunately, being cursed by the lingering tormented soul of an ancient Imperial was not something she planned on dealing with. Due to this curse, she is eternally compelled to help souls cross over until she crosses over herself.

Upon reaching The Pit, she finally helped said Imperial cross over by reuniting him with his unburied body. The Fae who inhabited said skeleton didn’t really appreciate it until Aelbus explained herself, at which point she was welcomed into the clan with welcome arms. Unfortunately, not many of the dragons there appreciate her line of work and at this point she is a bit burnt out from doing this for almost her entire life. But still, she has her own segment of the winding maze of tunnels that makes up half the lair, even though she leaves it frequently to do her job.

However, being the leader of the psychic’s sector isn’t all that great. She feels like no one even respects her line of work. She also is extremely afraid that she’ll end up doubly cursed, doomed to the gravest of fates, wandering this world for eternity. Eventually she’ll have to come to terms with these fears, but for now she ignores them as much as she possibly can.
