Limerence used to be gaoler once, before some terrible things happened. Wyrmwound turned her into aberration, although change of appearance is not the only thing. Horrific trauma has left its mark on her personality, many say she fell into insanity, as she doesn't really act like a rational being. She doesn't seem to understand common language and her speak is disrupted as well - the only members of sanctuary who understand her in a way are Ennevei and Hagalaz. The zealot brought her into lair or saying more precisely, it's Lucy who stuck to his side and refused to go away, following his path like a stray dog. And so he mockingly called her abomination puppy. He's not too very fond of her. He perceives love as an ultimate weakness and doesn't recognize her as intelligent enough to match with his level. On the contrary to Hagalaz, who took custody of Lucy and appreciates her company dearly. She's also the only one who referes to her previous name, the rest of night children call her Limerence or just Lime. Beside there's Atamerii, who doesn't understand Lucy's speech, however has a weak spot for her and treat her with kindness. |

"There's a saying 'loving one to the point of madness', but have you ever heard of someone, who indeed lost themselves in love so deep, they fell into lunacy? Well, now you have. The story starts pretty ordinary, she was born as a gaoler, under the name Lucy in the arcanist lair and she used to lead a normal life, with all its ups and downs. At least it's how she remembers it and who know how it would all go, if she didn't meet h̶i̷m̴. Tragically, she decided to put her feelings in the worst place possible. Lucy doesn't say much about him, these memories are pushing her over the edge of madness again, so I never insist. However, I can feel the howling pain in her voice whenever she's thinking of him and I know, he was up to no good. That love changed her, made her vulnerable and the one, who was supposed to lift her to the heights, pushed her into the abyss of misery without second thought. The feeling of betrayal was so overwhelming, that I can still taste it on the tip of my tongue, while she speaks about it. It's salty and bitter, makes me sick after a while. She never mentions that, but I know she took his life. Perhaps she's not aware of that? Perhaps that's for the better. Perhaps, the madness that is caging her, is also protecting her from facing those horrors. And those things make me feel uneasy, even though, I've seen some atrocities in my life, before my sight was taken from me. I sense the rusty smell of spilled blood, his raving screams mingling with sound of cracking ribcage and heartbeat slowly fading out. The wave of despair and wrath is hitting me as it must have hit her. Ripping his heart out and shattering his skull didn't bring her peace, it opened a gushing hole in her and the emotions must have been unbearable. Shutting my eyelids, like it would allow me to escape vision playing in my head over and over again. My mind is offering me scenes I don't wanna look at - seeing her throwing herself to the wyrmwound in desperate hope, she could feel no more. I sigh heavily, these thick emotions weigh me down like a boulder, but suddenly I feel one of her heads resting over my shoulder and hear a pair of tails wiggle gently. She has that unique way of making me forget what she's capable of. Leaning my head against her I'm feeling the stream of serenity flowing through.
- You're safe now, we won't let anything happen to you ever again, girl - Not sure if I'm saying this to her or rather to convience myself I'm able to protect her. I know she doesn't understand us, but somehow I also sense, she trusts me."
