Biography

Once a young and promising maritime genius, who enlisted at a very young age in the Wind Flight’s Navy based out of Harmattan Harbour. Showing an innate talent as a sailor, she was apprenticed under the wing of one of the Navy’s Sea Captain’s, who taught her to hone her skills as a cartographer, navigator and helmsman. Under his guidance and with far more experience than any other her age, she quickly rose up the ranks in the Navy, becoming the ships First Mate and second in command to the Captain. Shortly before she was to receive the rank of Sea Captain, and control of her own ship, a tragic accident occurred, resulting in the brutal death of her mentor, and subsequently, she was accused of mutiny and conspiring to kill a senior Officer. Despite her claims of innocence in the face of discharge from the Navy and a Court-Martial upon her return to the Mainland, she fled, abandoning her career and seeking refuge amongst the other fugitives, exiles and bandits in the Doldrum Docks. Unable to ignore the call of the seas, she turned to piracy, attacking and robbing the abundance of rich merchant vessels that docked at Harmattan, quickly rising to infamy and a large bounty being placed upon her head. Her ruthless nature and obscure past seem to deter the other miscreants from attempting to turn her in and claim the bounty, and her success as a commander and the spoils of war she returns with has led to a large crew of intensely loyal pirates, though they dare not ask about the weathered, old compass that hangs around her neck, ever present. Or why, when on the high seas in the dead of night, thick, rolling clouds of bioluminescent fog seem to engulf the ship and her right eye shines with the glowing green sigil of the same compass that swings around her neck.
