About
Emerald has the reputation of being what most would call a dim bulb, but in reality he is quite intelligent. Its just that he uses his intelligence to memorize enchantment practices, materials, and dangers. That leaves maybe 3 brain cells to split amongst everything else. Typically, when outside of his work space, he can be found in the gardens either purchasing materials he needs, or shoving his foot in his mouth. Most conversations he has are... circular. You'd think he'd be unpopular for this, but somehow, Emerald has cornered the "lovable, adorable idiot" market, and is actually quite popular. His adoptive mother, Copper, has yet to approve of any of the dragons who have made advancements, and is both amused and relieved when their affections go over Emerald's head. That obliviousness doesn't stop him being a flirtatious dude (although if you told him he was flirting, he would be bewildered).
