Biography

There are no kin here, only their accursed brethren and that cowardly traitor. They do not wish to follow him, all they wish is to render him to pieces between their jaws, but the waters of this new world are so much thicker than blood. He is tainted, driven into rage by the illness that has seeped from thick liquid into burning veins. This can be mended, but they only wish to watch.

The lore of Pinion is that a bunch of dragons have been trapped beneath the earth within various caverns, something gargantuan happens that opens up a cavern larger then all others and a society begins to form within it's hollow. Unfortunately, this cavern is stained with the bloodlust of its previous inhabitant, and its intent bleeds into all of those that attempt to live here. It is not all that similar to regular undertale but I think there are au's that are not dissimilar. Just mentioning this bc an undertide getting swept in here is very ironic.

Diffrent pov from a redundant dragon ---

Sun why must you blind? The stars were like sparks and you the fire that rages behind.

She told them not to pursue him, the traitor knows no bounds. He will run them ragged, kill them both if it means an end to this chase. There will be no justice delt in this exhibition. By the time the songs of morning began once again they were already gone. Even among kin there are fools that do not trust. She follows them as best she can, but there was a reason Noctis took this responsibility upon themself. A faint mirage of white joins the many other nipping at the horizon and she begins to doubt any of them are still her sibling. They are gone, and she can only trust that even traitors will still be loyal to brethren even if they are no longer kin.

By the time she finally catches up to them again, she had already become familiar with the pain of those two silhouettes flickering away from her sight. The shadow in the distance fickers as a piece of the sky nips at its tail, she was right about this pursuet, they are not going to survive this fall. It's at the first body of water that the traitor makes his fatal escape, there is no way of preventing Noctis from following his descent. She can only watch as they slip beneath the surface. Landing here is a death sentence but it's an expense she will pay if she has too, if only to know with certainty that there is nothing more she can do. Wound around pillars of bone she watches with a heart that beats so quiet might as well be still, that venomous pit that has made plague it's host.

What feels like hours pass but she has no way to tell, with the glow of the pit there is no need for the moons, no need for the sun. Bound to this place she can only watch the still waters as they flicker. It isn't Nexis that comes back, but Nex who breaches the pit. If it wasn't for the way his body seized upon itself she would have ended this herself, but she had seen unwitting animals and brainless fools alike fall to the poisons of brine pit, had seen the way they coiled and spasmed. This was something so much sicker then even the pools of death, she could at least accept that her breathen had the deaths they deserved, she could not bear to see if Nexis would resurface next. She could only hope that the others death was quick.

Noctis sunk like a rock, blinded by the thick haze of these sick waters she had no way to tell which way was up and she had shot downward instead. Punching though a thin cast of stone into an empty cavern, it would have been grand in its magnitude but the walls were still lined with the flesh of the plagues mutations and a smaller pit glowed a deep red within the resesses of the slimy floor. They did not expect the dragon that pulled itself away from the illness coating the walls, but they still followed as it herded them deeper still, up onto untainted ground. Further surprises came when it left only to return with the twitching body of their rival, still breathing but clearly ill.

Ra does not return home. This was not her responsibility, but Noctis was. Undertides are pridefull creatures and deathly loyal, loosing her charge is a blow to something deeper than even her pride. Kinship is sacred and taking responsibility of another, binding yourself to their safety and security only to loose them under her watch breaks more than just a moral code but shatters deeply ingrained instincts. She doesn't turn herself to return home, not like this. Plague is the place to live with wounds, and she doesn't think that this one will ever begin to heal.

The land pulls away from the spine she had been coiled upon, sending it clattering into the ressess that was once earth. She had already taken to the skies, hovering over the danger beneath. The crust of this baren land crumbles as the boneyard is swallowed by a new threat,. Dust clouds the air and clogs her gills, she can only pant through her mouth and swallow what lands on her tongue. When the noises settle and the earths tremors still she finds the courage to enter the hollow carved into the earth.

For dragons that have never left the caverns in years even the stars are blinding, a dragon made of pure light depends upon them.

Aaaaaand that's about all that I have figured out, I'll clean this up and move some of it to the correct dragons later. She kills Xylia but that all happens in the finale of Pinions lore and I haven't even touched half of the characters. A lot is missing from this and I think she's actually going to be an Outpost dragon, she never is in the caves but she ties the ending of that lore into a new beginning for the Outpost. I don't know what I'm going to do with well over a hundred lore dragons all being able to canonical interact with each other.
