A former high-ranking priest that, many ages ago, found a way to prevent his memory from being erased and attempted to spread the truth of Stillhart: that all the people of the city belonged to the Plaguebringer. He even took on the Path of Metamorphosis--a form of magic that all the people of Stillhart had access to, but through the lies of the clergy, had no clue--to prove his words. Instead of being treated as stating the truth, however, he was reviled for this act and called a "Plague traitor". Among the people, it was believed that his Plague masters had given him access to these magics, and that it was not innate to the people. He was ultimately slain for his crimes and never given an incense burner as "punishment". Not that it was much of a punishment to one who considered bringing the dead back to the realm of the living a horrific sin.

Cormac's bestial form had been that of a Sewer Toridae, a hardy marriage of plant and beast that thrived in dark, damp, diseased-filled places. When he underwent the Path of Metamorphosis, these traits were expanded upon, and his form became reminiscent of some of the plants found on the Rotrock Rim.
