Juliette is normally stronger than the rest of the lair, but it seems she can never get rid of her steampunk parts. why so?
in the past, she used to live in a place where advancements were CRAZY, there were even new inventions being delivered to them. one of the newer inventions being mechanisms to try improve a dragon's combat, which was in beta testing. when Juliette was 78 dragon years old [13 in human years], she was snatched from the Ravenmere HQ, separated from her parents, Hendrick and Lucrezia.
it was said that the Ravenmere HQ was one of those mega-factories in the Turrets of Goldensparc, due to the large amount of wealth and advancements. she didn't know what was going on, but she knew she had to stay strong. little did she know, she was snatched by those creatures to test on her the new beta steampunk sets for different things. it has been said that the steampunk set she got, which was a combat-related one, when attached to a dragon, gives the dragon more strength in combat, like in the coliseum. she was tested on, but she knew that this meant she'd be forever captured unless she were to do something.
the HQ thought to embed some of the test dragons with their factory-only signature, thus the golden seraph hip mark.
until she made an escape plan, the creatures continued testing her, she even befriended an ember mouse and made them her companion while all hell raised from the HQ. hell, she even met a fellow dragon that was also snatched to Ravenmere HQ, DJ, a fellow tested dragon with steampunk sets, but his was more music related, perfect for parties. it was to her shock that and DJ was from her home flight aswell, water. and while the escape plan was forming, she became close to DJ, eventually having feelings for him. but due to the time, she thought she'd get in trouble if she confessed in the HQ, so she was silent about it.
once the escape plan was fully planned, with her new strength and out to be free, her escaping began. and her plan was a success! may have left her scars, but she tended to them quickly, thinking its just a little inconvenience.
fun fact: she has yet to go to a doctor for that shhh

she was flying away for days to prevent her being captured again, until she found a clan of dragons, near the Hoverview Vale, just gathering stuff back for the lair, which was close to them. the dragons in the lair thought it was weird that she had all that steampunk attached to her, but they accepted her a bit quickly, with her strength buff, leading her to be the coliseum mentor for the rest of the lair. while one of the hunts, she found material that she combined to get some sort of waist wrap to cover up the signature from the factory, to hide that incase an employee passed by. she only really lets her bf, DJ, and the others on the throne of the lair see the signature.
